We had our electrical appointment with Erin Payne today at the Baulkham Hills colour studio. Like our colour appointment it was a very pleasant experience.

We provisioned $16,000 for electrical and came in at $14,755 which was a great.

Contract Signed

Signed our contract today. Everything was quite straight forward and our CLO sent through soft copies to be sent to our bank for loan purposes. Electrical appointment is now booked in for the 23rd of March. To top it off, they surprised us with a gift which was nice.

We spent another $12K on top of our selection items that we added in our initial tender. This was $2K more than what we initially budgeted for but we are very happy with our final choices. 

Jessica was a pleasure to deal with and provided great advice on colour combinations. McDonald Jones also provided us with lunch during a short break and ended the day by giving us a bottle of champagne. Overall, the experience today was very enjoyable. 

Facade changed to Ryde

Received our preliminary plan yesterday with our custom Nexus B facade and was very disappointed with how it look. It just didn't turn out the way we wanted.

Contacted our CLO today to change our custom facade to the Ryde Facade. The variation came back with a credit which was a nice bonus.

We had our preliminary colour appointment yesterday at the Baulkham Hills Office in Sydney.

It was a great experience and I love the fact that they gave us a quick run down showing what standard choices are available then gave us a folder with a majority of the upgrade costs to take home. This will help us with budgeting before our full colour appointment.
