House has been handed over!!

The house has been handed over two us yesterday after two long years since we bought our block of land.

Both Les and Stephen was on site for the handover which was a nice touch. Very happy with the house and can't thank Stephen and Les enough for looking after our build with some much care and love.

Flooring and landscaping to start next week so won't have any photos for the next few weeks!

PCI Completed!

PCI Completed!!!

Nicole and I had a great PCI experience this morning with Les. Took about 2 hours.

We are very surprised as the house was almost perfect for handover. Very impressed.

Big props to Les, he was very thorough with the inspection and allowed us to take our time. He has all the answers to our questions and was more than happy to to call head office/contractors to get answer there and then.

Below is the list of items that needs to be completed before handover.

- Complete tap fitting to bathroom bathtub and shower
- Complete fitting of downlight in bathroom and ensuite
- Gas service to be connected
- Install Photoeye Controller for garage door
- Adjust/replace main bathroom vanity doors
- Laundry cabinets cutout for washing machine plumbing
- Final house clean

PCI Date Confirmed

Finally got  PCI date locked in. PCI will be on the 17th of November 2016.

Pendant Lights and Under mount sink Installed + Quality Inspection Completed by Interim SS and Area Manager.

Slowly but surely.

Pendant lights and under mount sink has been installed.

Seems like our interim SS Les and the area manager Shane has completed a quality check on the house. Green and blue defect marks are every where. I guess this is a good thing as it means they are acknowledging the faults/defects.

Hopefully we will get a PCI date soon! 

Fences are down!. Door handles, fly screen and laundry security sliding door installed.

I don't know whether its because Steve is on leave or our build is coming to an end but progress seems rather slow within the last week or so.

To our surprise our site got cleaned and the fences are down. Doors handles, fly screen and laundry security sliding doors are installed.

Aircon, Shower Screens, mirrors installed + House Cleaned + Final invoice Issued and Interim SS

Feels like another busy week with lots of building and administrative activity.

Our actron aircon, shower screens, mirrors has been installed.

House has also been cleaned last Friday (28/10/16).

Final invoice has been released by MJH. For the last payment we will be doing that via bank cheque.

Massive congratulations to Stephen Kinnell and his wife as they just welcome a new baby into their lives last week. Steve will be off for 3 week. Our CLO advised that Shane De La Mare the area manager will be looking after our build. Will be giving Shane a call within the next few day to discuss progress and etc.

Painting Completed - Fitout Started

Been a very busy week for our build this week and felt like they did quite a bit.

Painting has officially been completed today (21/10/16). When we were out on site on Tuesday they have already completed some of the fitout i.e. toilets, butler pantry sink and etc.

Also very glad that we picked Apache Stone for our home theatre wall. Looks pretty schmick in my opinion.
